Ingredients:
- 1 whole turkey 12-14 pounds, thawed
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups chicken or turkey broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package 14 ounces seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 cups chicken or turkey broth for stuffing
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken or turkey broth for gravy
Instructions:
Add salt and pepper to the turkey all over
Put the trivet in the Instant Pot and add two cups of broth
Put the turkey on the trivet with the breast side facing up
Melt some butter and brush it on the turkey
Put the stuffing mix, celery, onion, carrots, garlic, thyme, sage, rosemary, and parsley in a bowl and mix them together
Put the stuffing mixture inside the turkey
Around the turkey, add 4 cups of broth to the Instant Pot
Put the lid back on top of the pot and set it to Manual for 6 minutes per pound
Let the pressure drop naturally for 15 minutes, and then quickly let go of any pressure that's still there
Take the turkey out of the oven and let it rest while you make the gravy
To make the gravy, blend flour and 1 cup of broth together
Put the Instant Pot on Saute mode and whisk in the flour-broth mixture until it gets thick
Stuff the turkey and serve it with gravy
